About Mahal Hudson
Mahal Hudson is the Founder of The Avant-garde Company Inc., a leadership education firm that aims to invoke courage to break you free from barriers and help you reach your optimum level of life.

Mahal is a leadership advocate and entrepreneur. She immigrated to Canada from the Philippines at 25. Her first time in a foreign land, she saw this as her opportunity to honour her parents’ values about hard work and integrity—mediocre was not acceptable for Mahal. Her sister Marilag, who suffered from a life-long disability, has been her inspiration and fuels her passion about advocacy for youth with intellectual disability.

Mahal is a professionally trained coach from Coaches Training Institute who believes in empowering leaders and advocating teamwork. She is an optimist and a dreamer. She is a co-author of the book Transform Your Life! Book 2. She has a BS degree in Behavioural Science and a member of the International Coach Federation.

Her work is comprised of a combination of 17+ years’ experience in behavioural management, non-violent crisis prevention & intervention training, and coaching advocates in a non-profit organization. Her strong background is merged with her co-active coaching disciplines and model to deliver avant-garde success for individuals and teams.
